Quick question: is it (supposed to be) possible to create a master/detail
against a secondary data source (for read-only browsing) rather than the
primary one? I find not: when I create a m/d I have to pick the primary ds;
after it's created, if I then Change Binding to a secondary d/s, the
"master"-ness goes away and cannot be reselected.
Also, I don't know whether this is related, but some of the docs state you
can create a m/d by creating the two repeating tables without m/d and then
setting one as master & one as detail. I find not: unless I initially create
as m/d, I find the option to make a repeating table "master" is *always*
disabled?
