I am about to enter the domain of master documents (it is very important for
me to keep lots of different bits of information and links within one
document--I tried OneNote but it wasn't what I was looking for). Having
read warnings in the past, from folks online who know a lot more about Word
than I do, not to use this feature, I'm wondering if one file format would
be easier for Word to function in, than others. Would .docx, .doc, or .rtf
be better/worse than the other formats, when using this feature? Or would it
matter at all?
