master page in web

I created a 7 page website with one master page. Looking at the web pages in
"view publication pages", everything looks ok. When I go to "web page
preview", the items on the master page don't show up. I have already applied
the master pages several times, uploaded all the info to my web site, but the
items on the master still don't show up. What am I doing wrong, or don't
master pages work for web sites?

I just looked in the web publisher forum and see that master pages are not
supported in publisher. Sorry for posting this question before looking
further. Will this change in future versions of publisher?

I haven't tested it, but since Pub 2007 uses the same html coding engine as
2003, I wouldn't expect it to.
