Master project and custom fields at project level

Hi all
We are using project server 2007 SP1
We created a custom filed related to the baseline status (saved/not saved)
at project level.
(Entity project, Type text and a formula).

We created 2 files, set baseline and save them into our server.
The custom field works fine.

Now, I created a master project with those 2 files, save it and publish it.
After doing it, it seems that the custom fields change it's values.
It represent that the sub project do not have baseline
Note that the master project does not have a baseline.
Is it possible, that when we save the master project and publish it, the
baseline field at the sub project level, change it's value?

Have you verified that when you open the individual project up on its own
that the custom field values have changed and that the baseline no longer
exists? Or is this just in the Master View that you see the issue?
