Master project - Resources Usage

Hello

I have read with great interest a lot of yours questions and answers on
Master Project but I have not found answer for my issue.

We use EPM (MS Project, PWA for time key in), managed periods.

I have created a master project XXXX, including
Project P1
Resource R1
Resource R2, etc.
Project P2
Resource R1
Resource R2, etc.

When I open my master project in Project with the "Load assignment .."
option checked, I see in the "Resource usage" view assignement of R1, R2 in
P1, P2 but also P3, P4 (projects of other PM).

When I open my master project in Project with the "Load assignment .."
option unchecked, I see in the "Resource usage" only assignement of P1 (first
project inserted in the master project).

How can I see planned figures (Work, Actuals work, etc) of resources for my
own projects only?

THANKS

I'm confused by your question. When you launch Microsoft Project
Professional, deselect the "Load summary resource assignments" option, and
then open your master project, are you saying you cannot see the resources
and task assignments for the resources working in Project P2? To confirm
what project resource and assignments are visible in that master project,
temporarily insert the Project field to the left of the Resource Name field.
Let us know.

Hello Dale, the one who answers all of our questions ...
Yes, I confirm that when I deselect the "Load summary resource assignements"
option, from the "Task Usage" view or other views, I can see tasks (and
assigned resources below the task) of all inserted projects but from the
"Resource usage" view, with the project name column inserted, I see only
assignements of the first project!

Apply the Resource Usage view and press the F3 function key to apply the All
Resources filter. Does this solve the problem? If not, I cannot duplicate
your problem. Let us know.

I understand now. We need to zoom out all projects (+ button) from the "Task
Usage" view to be able to see assignments when we switch to "Resource Usage
view.

Many Thanks
