Master Project

I am using MSP 2002 to create a Master Project. I have 12 subprojects. The first 11 inserted fine and I have had no problems with their alignment.

However, when inserting the 12th project, it tries to be subordinate to the 11th project and not the central controlling project. All of the other subprojects I have inserted have gone in subordinate to the contral controlling project without any problem. I can't figure out why this is happening and I don't know where else to look

I have looked at the source of the 12th project and nothing appears to be unusual about its alignment. Its first task line (which is really the project's highest level summary line) is aligned all the way to the left like one would expect. To insert a subproject, I place my insertion point in the appropriate row in the Indicators Box. Then do the insert project. Any clue where I should look to correct this situation
Thank you for your help

Margy,
You may have already figured this out for yourself, but if not, try this
method. I suspect when you try to insert the 12th subproject it is after
one of the other subprojects (probably the 11th) and I also suspect that
the subproject you are inserting after is "exploded", that is, it is
fully expanded. Try collapsing each of the 11 subprojects so you have
only the summary line for the master and a single summary line for each
of the subprojects. Now insert the 12th subproject at the end. After it
is inserted, you can "explode" everything and will find that they are
all in the proper indenture.

An alternate method is to insert the 12th subproject immediately below
the master top summary line. Then collapse it and drag and drop it to
the desired location within the master. However, when you drag and drop
you have to be careful that it doesn't end up indentured under another
task.
