I have a Master Schedule made up of a number of sub-projects. There are two
types of sub-projects: Proposed Projects and Active Projects. This provides a
good overview of existing and potential future work.
In 2003 I was able to format the task bars in a sub-task (color, shape,
shading). In 2007 it allows me to make the changes in the dialogue box but
the task bar remains unchanged. Is there a setting that I have missed?
As a work-around I thought I would created a new definition in the Gant Bar
Definiation Table. I haven't figured out where the defintion "normal" is
stored and if you can changed this in a particular task. I did create a Flag
(Yes for Proposed) and in the definitions table specied this to have a
different color. This places a different color task bar on top of the
"normal" task bar, but only the "normal" links are shown.
Can I change the status of a task from "normal" to something else?
When I created the new defintion why does it not show the links?
Thanks,
Eric, PMP
