Master Shape Icon Images

Leigh Clow

Hi,

Is there a way to use a bitamp, jpeg, or some other image as the icon for a
master shape instead of the default, 16 color icon? We are using many shapes
that are quite similar in appearance when printed except for their colors and
when Visio translates these into icon images they are pretty much
indistinguishable. Thanks in advance.

One idea might be to insert a jpg file onto the Visio darwing page, and drag
it to the stencil. This master icon can be coppied to another master using
embeded icon editor.

No. You can use only 16-color images for master icons.
This is one of those adorable ancient things we love in Visio :)

Kind regards.
