Master -Sub documents

Hi

I am trying to create a set of master/subdocuments. The source files are on
my network drive.
I create the first document, and then goto Outline and insert a subdocument.
However when i view this is appearing as a link rather than displaying the
doucment itself.
if I do the same on my laptop, i can see the subdocument.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks

Alexey

Well, I have to say I think you are unwise to be attempting to use that
feature at all. This article describes why

Why Master Documents corrupt

If you want to create a table of contents that spans multiple documents, I
suggest you use this approach instead.

Think you might be right - have weasted enough time, gone back to old
fashioned method :)

Thanks
