Master & Subprojects & Resource Pools - Project 2000

Using Project 2000, SR/1, (NOT using Project Central)

I'm going to be setting up a Master Schedule with several (10 - 15) sub-projects in separate files. A separate file will be the Resource Pool used by the sub-projects. A co-worker of mine *thinks* there is some sort of bug in MS Project 2000 when using a common Resource Pool.

Is anyone aware of this? Other possible "gotchas" using a common resource pool/ master & subprojects that I should know about

Thank you in advance

Hello Jan,

As far as I know, there is not any special issue with such an architecture.
I used it a lot of times without any problem.
You know that the Master Schedule have to share the resource pool as well as
the sub-projects. Everything must work fine.

Hello Jan
I have been using this for a long time. I have never had a problem with the shared resource pool. It is a great tool to let you keep from over allocating folks across many projects. Good Luck
