MasterDocument Problem

Hi everyone,

I've written my thesis in word 2007 using subdocuments and putting
everything together in a master document. Recently, this is not behaving
well. When I close the master document down and reopen it, one or more of my
subdocuments are gone. I have to re-add them and typically do some
reformatting. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? I tried to
just create a new masterdocument, but I'm unable to set the headings
correctly in the multilevel list. Does the masterdocument not work in word
2007? I also can't save to pdf or xps as Word crashes. Thanks for any help.
