masterpage: cannot view/edit html in a content control

i developed an asp.net site using visual studio (it uses some master pages).
later, i needed to allow editing via frontpage. so i installed frontpage
2003 on our sandbox web server, and also on a co-worker's machine (so she
could do edits.)

the co-worker is able to use frontpage to wysiwyg view/edit/save the html
within an asp.net content control ...works just fine. that's very cool.

however, i cannot view/edit html in a content control when running frontpage
client on the actual web server. in design (wysiwyg) mode, i see absolutely
no content. when i add content, it gets placed just below the content
control.

i have no clue as to why i can't edit on the localhost, but the remote user
is having no problems. has anyone heard of any simliar issue(s)?

much obliged,

Is this the correct forum for a Frontpage 2003 question such as mine (as the
problem I'm having involves an asp.net "masterpage" and a "content control"
object)? My question doesn't appear to be applicable to any other forum.
hmmmm....

Can anyone advise me as to where best to look for an answer to this? I need
to allow co-workers to use my sandbox (xp-running IIS) to edit the pages I
derive from masterpages via Frontpage.

Asp.NET support in FrontPage is not good. I cannot see content in any
..aspx pages that use master pages, whether on my server or in a disc
based web on my PC. Expression Web, on the other hand, renders these
pages from both sources without any problems. aspx pages that do not
use master pages display with errors in the controls.

I suggest you try the Expression web trial from
http://www.microsoft.com/expression/products/download.aspx?key=web

Do not forget the product key obtainable from a link on that page.
