hello,
i would like to explain my problem with masterplan before I loose my mind!
I have 2 projects (project A and project B)in which my resources has
inserted their work hours since jenuary.
Last week my boss decided to insert these 2 project as subproject of a
masterplan. this master plan has new task liked to tasks of project A and
Project B.

now what i did: i open a new project (masterplan) and I insert project A
and B, then i create link betweek task. and it was working good. I saved and
i published the masterplan.

today I open the master plan and the icon of the sub project was in read "
this insert project is not valid, a project can be inserted only once in a
consolidated project"...what does it means?
I don't see all links I've made last week!! what i have to do?

do you have any idea of this problem? can you help me?

Does this subproject A or B exist in another master plan? Sounds like it to
me by the error message you specified.

Also, when you open up the individual project A and project B, do you find
the interplan dependencies existing in them?

Let us know,
Jonathan

thanx jonathan,
yes, project A and B were linked to another masterplan,..that's true, and i
deleted it.
and yes, I found the interproject link in project A and B.

But I still have problem:
tasks from project A and B linked to masterplan were now duplicated in
masterplan, and that's a big problem!

My question is: Project server 2007 has some limit in this issue? or i have
to follow some "gold" rules that I don't know?

do yo uhave any advice?

thank you very much for your help!
