Match Numbering with text descritption

Maperalia

I have a file with sentences numbered from 1.0 to 100.0. Each sentence has
image number that must match with the numbering. However, when I delete or
increase sentences I have manually make the changes in each sentence.
For example; I have the following sentence:

"25.0 break the corner of the label and and remove it as shown in the figure
25.0"

When I delete four sentences this number change from "25.0" to "21.0";
however, the description "figure 25.0" and text box "Fig 25.0" located in the
image must be changed manually. Additionally, I have to change manually all
the rest of the sentences with the images until I reach the 100.0.

Do you know if there is any way to make this update automatically? or is
there is any macro that can do it.

Thanks in advance

Hi Maperalia,

I suggest you take some time to learn how to use Word's automatic numbering facilties.

Start here: http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Numbering.htm
