Material Allocation

Hey

Recently we have got Project Server 03 up and running, theres been one thing
Ive been stuck on though, ive looked at previous posts and there appears to
be nothing on this, so Im assuming its somthing simple that im missing...

We want to be able to assign material resources to tasks, for us material
resources are things like Rental Cars, Accomodation etc. We want it so that
the team members can login in to PWA and enter their personal hours against a
task and can also enter hours or cost for a material resource against the
same task. We have found how to assign hours against a material resource but
not costs in PWA, is this possible?

Curtis:

Costs are calculated in Project, not entered. Rates are entered. You can add
fields to the timesheet to collect additional information such as additional
costs, however you'll need to take some more steps to get this information
to go where you want it to go.
