Material Costs

Please open the attached project. I would like to understand why the
remaining cost is £5 and not £10 on task - spread. There is 5 units of
a resource of type material at a cost of £5. The actual duration is 4
and remaining duration is 2. It just doesn't add up.

Hello markdanielmaltby,

Your remaining two days of duration only have .5 unit of resource b
assigned to each day. Look at the Task Usage view to see your units
per day. Days 1-4 all show 1 unit per day, days 5 & 6 each show .5
units.
