Have you considered using one of the sample databases, such as "Service
Call Management", to use to get started? (Use File --> New, choose the
"Databases" tab, and select one of the choices shown there.) It will
suggest a bunch of Tables relevant to making service calls, such as
[Parts required to complete workorders], and in each of these Tables you
can select which fields you want to keep.
If you don't want to do that, or if you've set up the database using
that wizard but want to add some other Tables, you can use the New Table
Wizard to suggest a Table in which you can select some or all of the
suggested fields.
Or, you can look at the "Northwind Traders" database and copy the
Tables, Queries, Forms, and Reports that you expect to need in your work.
