Math Notations on Office

Hello,

Im using Office 2003. When I open a document in
PowerPoint or Word that is using mathematical notations,
the symbols got replaced by other incorrect symbols.
Previously I'm using Office XP and it worked just fine.
Any advice or solution is highly appreciated

Please tell us what you mean by math notation?

integration sign, greek alphabets (alpha, theta, phi,
etc), sigma signs, etc

How are you inserting these signs? Microsoft Equation, Insert Symbol,
third-party software?

beats me... the file was from my lecturer. Anyway i
seemed to have fixed the problem somehow uisng MS
Equation Editor. I right-clicked one of the equation and
it was corrected after showing an error message
about "font not found" (the font was the one that
contains the swastika symbol) but still have to click on
them one by one this way... thanks for the responses
anyway...

Lecturer used a font you don't have.
