This may seem like a really strange question...
We receive files in that have Equations in the Word document - either
Equation Editor or MathType. The problem is that many times the items do not
need to be in MathType. We receive files that an italic "s" or italic "t" sub
"0" is in MathType.
We need these types of elements entered directly in Word - the "s" could
just be typed off the keyboard and italicized. a+b=c does not need to be in
MathType. Greek characters do not need to be in MathType.
We have documents where these types of things are entered using Mathtype 50
to 100 times in a doc!
Can anyone direct me toward any conversion-type program that might exist to
convert MathType to the characters in Word. I have looked into this and come
up empty-handed but thought I would throw the question out in case someone
has any ideas!
Are there any other export(conversion) filters for MathType other than the
default ones that come with MathType?
(Yes, I know that I can write my own - but I was really trying to avoid that).
