Max contacts possible in one folder

Hi,
Anyone know (or better, has had experience with) how
many contacts you can store in one Outlook folder. No
custom forms, just standard. There is a COM add-in
though written in VC++.NET that interacts with these
contacts and may query them. 50,000? 150,000?
500,000? What's the most you've ever done without
creating trouble?
