Is there any way to conditionally format a set to not only display the Max value but also the next value behind the Max?

I'm running frequency histograms and instead of using a chart, I'm simply highlighting the Max value of the frequency to show the most common value. I'd like to also show the second most common value in the frequency.

My first conditional format is :

=$e12=MAX($e$12:$e$112)
that'll highlight the Max value

any ideas?

One way:

=E12=LARGE($E$12:$E$112,2)
