Max limit on datasheet in a graph 3999

I have a query that returns over 10,000 and I want my graph to show all data
points, but eeither the graph/chart or the datasheet limits the rows to 3999.
Is there a way to take off this limit in Access.

Possibly you can build a query which returns only the Totals of your records
and use that query in your graph. I find it hard to believe that you need
that many individual data points. I don't know of any graphy that would
display that many points.

I do have a need to show up to 10,000 data points and it's actually easy to
view on the graph. So if you can help me out, it would be great.

If you can do the graphs in Excel, try exporting the data with OutputTo or
TransferSpreadsheet.

Sorry this is a application front end that changes dynamic. So I take it
there isn't a fix for this.

Using Automation, there is no reason to think that you are in any way
limited to a static format. If you know that your range can include up to
10000 rows, just allow for that range in your Excel chart. When you export
the data to say Sheet1 in Excel, the chart will either start after row 10000
on Sheet1, or be on Sheet2 and read from the Sheet1 range.

That is my problem, excel does it fine, but I'm trying to do this in Access,
and there is where my problem happens. I want this to be an application and I
don't want to use Excel.

Access, although up until the latest version (Access 12) has used the exact
same charting and graphing engine as Excel, has never had the versatility
that Excel has. Excel *is* the premier analysis tool. That's why I've always
used Access/Excel Automation to produce graphs.

You know, the reason that MS-Office is worth so much more than its
competitors is that it does Automation between all of its applications
through the VBA language. My best advice is to take advantage of that
strength.
