Does anybody know what's maximum number of records in combo box in MS Access
XP (or 2000)?

64K I believe, but you really should never populate a list with more than a
few hundred rows anyway. If you need more than that you should provide
another control where the user can limit the choices by providing the first
few characters or divide the selections into categories and use two or more
ComboBoxes that filter each other.
