Max number of rows reached

When I open my plan document, which has about 100 rows, a message pops up
saying max rows have been reached and asks me to create sub-projects to
manage the tasks. I dont have so many rows and I cant see the plan details to
make changes. Any suggestions to get my plan back?

Prapula,
You may have more task rows than you realize. If you can open it at all,
go to Project/Sort/Sort By and select the Unique ID field as the sorting
criteria. You may be surprised to find that there are tons of blank rows
between your first tasks and the last task. This can occur for various
reasons when editing - the most common is an inadvertent key stroke
perhaps while the file is scrolled beyond the bottom. Delete those blank
rows, use Save As, and you should be ok.

If you can't even open the file, you're probably stuck. You will have to
revert to the last saved version.

By the way, which version of Project are you using?
