Max records in Access 2000 table?

P

Phil Stokes

What is the maximum no of records allowed in an access
database table? I'm sorry if this is rather basic question
but I have been unable to find the answer anywhere.

Thanks, Phil

Look in Help, specifications.

There is no specific number of records limit, only a max size, 1Gb for A97,
2Gb for A2000 and up.

There is no effective maximum number of records allowed in a table. Access
2000 (as well as 2002 and 2003) has a database size limit of 2GB which may
be composed of a single table object or multiple objects.
