Max size in attachments

I can´t attach big files to infopath a then save it in a Sharepoint
library.
My users need to upload in an attachment of a infopath form files of
40Mb or more.
Exists any limit?
What is the max size in those cases?
Where can I get documentation about it?
Maybe a time out problem on the request settings beteewn infopath and
SharePoint?
Thanks.

From what I recall reading a long while back, there is no max size.

But keep in mind that someone has to open that form once it's been saved. The bigger the file, the longer it wll take to open it.

If performance is an issue, you'll want to find another way to do this.

Thanks Greg. In fact I had to made some changes in the solutions for my
users. I decide to create a custumized sharepoint document library
where the users can upload their files and then they can indicate a
reference to the infopath form, this using diferents views and
filtering by user.

Regards.
