I want to use 10 hammock tasks that extend the life of a project and capture
the capacity of a project manager. If I tell the PM that they are allowed to
work only 20% of their time on the project, then each hammock task would have
the PM's unit value be 2% Easy enough to put into a template with hard-coded
unit values.
But what if I in the PMO wants to be able to vary the max units of a PM on a
project and have those hammock tasks divide evenly? For instance, let's say I
tell the PM to change their max value to 30% project-wide in the resource
sheet, then I would like each of the nine hammock tasks to use this formula
as their unit value: max unit/10.
Is there any way to make the unit value in a task be determined by a formula?
