maximise an application during presentation

Hi

I know it is possible to open an application from a hyperlink in a
powerpoint presentation, but is it possible to maximise an application that
has been minimised in the tool bar.

I would like to be able to do this so that the application I wish to
demonstrate does not load itself up completely from scratch, but rather will
appear already at a certain stage in its usage.

Thanks

Hi Angelica

Have the application open before you start the presentation then have links
to it on the slides or use alt+tab. I do this sometimes when demo-ing Excel
features.

Hi

Alt and tab does work fine, but is not as seamless in a presentation as
clicking on a link from within Powerpoint. How do I link from powerpoint to
bring to the fore the already open other application.

Thanks

Hi Angelica

Create an object on the slide -> right click -> action settings -> run
program -> either browse or add file path. That is to run a program, rather
than open a particular file within that program - if you want to open a
particular file just use right click -> hyperlink -> existing file.

Oh, and you may need to see this too:

might harm your computer"
