maximising the performance of word tables

hi there,

does somebody know where I can look for some tipps speeding up word tables.
I generate a word doc with many tables from our development environment
called Gupta Sql-Windows.
I use the word classes like selection, range, table, cell, ...
My problem is that I have to create a table with some data and every cell
can have different layout props. The table can be left indented and so on.
Now I need 4 seconds to create a table with 12 rows and 6 cols.
Wordapplication is invisible and screenupdating is false.
I found an link

Can somebody help me?

If you showed the code that you are using, someone might be able to help.
For starters, if you are using the Selection object, you should change from
doing that.
