maximize/bring to front with hwnd

Hello all. I am launching an access dB from an access dB
and would like to have the launched dB have to focus/ be
up front after launching. I am using the shell function
to launch the dB, but I cannot bring it to the front. I
read about the hwnd API property, but am not sure of a
quick way to use it.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
