Is there a difference between using
DoCmd.Maximize
and
ActiveWindow.ActivePane.View.Zoom.Percentage = 100

or do they both do the same job?

Thanks for your time and asnwer

Joanne,

DoCmd is an Access VBA keyword - it you use it in Word VBA you'll get an
error. DoCmd.Maximize will maximize the current window within Access to
fill the whole screen area of the application. The other command will
change the zoom level of a document in Word, with no effect on the size of
the window in which that document is being displayed.

Chad

Thank you for the explanation Chad. Makes it all clearer to me. I
always like to know why we do the things we do in these vba modules,
otherwise I can't ever figure anything out myself. This helps.
Between you and Helmut and Malcolm I have learned more practical vba
today than many books present in a hundred pages of difficult reading.
