Is there a maximum limit of data size(MB) an Access table is supposed to
hold? Or is there a
maximum number or rows that can be inserted?

Do a search, or use the built-n help function of Access. Type
"specification" in the help window.

Look for help on "Specifications" in the help system.

Short answer: 2 GByte (2048 MByte) in any single .mdb file (which may
contain multiple tables or other objects); no explicit limit on number
of rows. In practice a largest table with tens of millions of rows
requires careful implementation but is still practical.
