Maximum hours per day when notifying manager of unavailability

In our MS Project 2003 server we are unable to enter more than 8 hours when
notifying our manager about time we will be unavailable to work on projects.
Is there a way to change this? Our schedules vary because of flexible
reporting; e.g., working 4 tens or 9 by 80.

Hi Dredman,

You can decide how many hours you can report per day within the admin
section on PWA
Go to PWA > Admin > Customise Project Web Access.
You will find a section called:
- Maximum number of hours that can be entered per day for a single task
(enter '0' for no limit): -
Enter the manximum amount of hours ( or 0 for no limitation )

Thanks for you reply; however, that doesn't seem to be the problem. The max
hours was set at 10, but still allow only 8 hours to be entered. I changed it
to 0, but that made no difference. It still allows a max of only 8 hours. Any
other thoughts??
