Maximum page size

Hi everyone,

I am using Word 2000 and am having problems creating a 17
x 14" document. I can't seem to get the document to print
correctly on any of our printers. On our HP8000 we can't
make the document scale down to 11 x 17" and on our Xerox
Docutech the page is not centered correctly and appears to
truncate data. Does anyone know what the page size limits
are in Word? We seem to run into these problems every time
we try something large.

Does anyone have any ideas what I can try?

Thanks,

George

The maximum allowable page size in Word is 22" x 22", so Word is not the
source of your problem. Word is limited by the information it gets from the
printer driver, so that is where you need to look to solve the problem. You
need to install the driver for the ultimate output device (even if it is not
physically connected to your computer) and select it as the active printer
when you're creating the document. That will give you that printer's
available paper sizes and allow you to create custom sizes within the range
of those supported by the printer.

Thanks Suzanne, this makes sense. I'll explore this.
