Maximum Value in 2 fields of a record

My table has 2 fields [Publication Date] and [Presentation Date]. I need to
compare these fields if they are both not null and take the latest date. Is
it possible to compare 2 fields in the same table and take the maximum of the
2?

Use this --
Max_Date: IIF([Publication Date] >= [Presentation Date], [Publication
Date], [Presentation Date])
