May I called a Programmer if...

Dear Friends,

I can make small and big vba projects, and familier how to put
restrictions, validations, conditional formatting, security and every
thing I can use.

But all the functions I know how to arrange and how to use the
prepared modules and I also can make necessary ammendments in prepared
cods.

Most of the cods I am using from this website, and I am using in my
vba project, with necessary ammendments/alterations.

In the end I can arrange modules/userforms/and advance functions.

by doing all these things can I called a programmer or not.

This question I am asking because I am using lot of prepared macros
from this Fourm, with necessary alterations, and when I stuck I am
asking for the solution.

Can I apply for a vba programmer in any company?

You can call yourself what you like, and you can apply for any job you want.
It is up to the person offering the post to first determine whether your CV
is sufficient to warrant offering you an interview, and second whether your
knowledge and skill-set is good enough to offer you the position.

Even the most experienced can ask for help, I know that I do.

far as I'm concerned, it's more about your skillset than your title.

William Shakespeare wrote in one of his writings said "A rose by any name
would smell as sweet." So, I guess that no matter what you call it, it is
what it is, and we are what we are. Personally, I am retired, and that is a
pretty fitting title.

Anybody can call themselves a programmer, but don't go as far as calling
yourself a Software Engineer because the is much more talent required.

I really never liked what Microsoft did with there MSCE (Microsoft System
Certified Engineer) which is a training course that Microsoft offers. You
only need to take a few courses to get the certification.

It is not too be confused with a MSCS (Master of Science in Computer
Science). To get a MSCS you fist need a 4 year college degree of around 128
credits (32 - 40 courses). and then you have to go back to school for an
additonal 2 years (8 couses) to get your Masters.
