Hi all,
Just come across something rather strange (Project 2003). Here it is...
Create a new project with the general working times as 24 hours and when it
asks for the hours in the day/week enter 24 hours in the day and 168 Hours
per week. Enter 31 days in a month (is that right??).
Now create a new job that lasts for 10 days. Now save this project as an
xml file.
Now add a status to the job of 60%. Now save the project as another xml
file.
If you close Project down and then reopen it and load the second xml file
you have created. Notice now that the jobs length has changed from 10 days
to 8 days. Why is this?? As far as I am concerned the job length hasn't
changed so why has project decided to change it? If you open up the 1st xml
file, this still shows 10 days.
Can anyone comment on this?
Cheers
Tristan
