mcafee 2004 mail not send &m receive

I installed Mcafee 2004 virus scan version 8 in my XP pc
after installation no mails are recieving or sending. I
uninstalled it is working fine. I tried to configure email
scan but no use. I right click Mcafee icon on the task bar
& disbled but still probnlem occure. I send an email to
Mcafee but no response for 3 days.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, abd asked:
