I am using Access 2003 to write a Menu add-in. Here are the steps I followed:
1.) Created a new database, and saved as a .mda
2.) Added some code to a new module, saved, and quit.
3.) Saved, and then copied file to the office templates directory
4.) Started outlook again, created a new file, went into the Add-in manager
5.) Clicked the "Add" button. My .mda file does not appear on the list. I
verified that the file is indeed in that directory.
6.) Created a USysRegInfo table in the add-in, as discussed in the
"Creating Installable Add-ins for Access" article
7.) The add-in manager still doesn't see my .mda file
What's the next thing to check? Any chance this could be caused by security
settings?
Thanks,
