MDAC & MS Jet

Does anyone know if installing later versions of MDAC (2.6 SP1 & up) will
cause any problems potentially with earliers OS's (back to Win 98) that might
use MS Jet since it isn't installed with later MDACs? If one installs a later
MDAC, does Jet remain on the older system so that functionality remains as
well?

The older version of Jet will remains in place but you may experience
compatibility problems. The best solution is to install the latest versions
for both MDAC and JET
