mde file corrupted

One of the dbs which has been converted to mdb gave the
needs to be repaired warning. On getting everybody off and
clicking OK I got the message unrecognised database format
xxx file name. I heve tried jetcomp and importing data but
get the same msgs. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Mal,

I believe you will need to go to the original MDB file from which your MDE
was created and create a new MDE. Also, if you are running only a single
MDE which all of your users open (a possible cause of corruption), you may
want to consider distributing an MDE to each of your users which will run
from their hard drives. This MDE will link to tables in a shared MDB
stored on your network.
