Hi,
I've recently joined a company and have been asked to edit
a mdb. No problem I thought. It turns out the db is
saved as an MDE, and THERE IS NO ORIGINAL. I've asked
around but no-one knows where it's saved, or even if it
still exists. I don't suppose there is any way that I can
convert it back? I know that the whole point of them is
that they can't be edited but if anyone knows of any
sneaky way of restoring it that no-one is supposed to know
about, can you help me?!
Failing that, if I create a new db, which I'm about to do,
is there any way I can transfer the 1771 records to the
new db? (without typing them all in of course) From what
I know, I don't think that is possible either, but then, I
don't know much!
I don't expect that there's anyway out of this, but if
someone can save me from a massive data-entry excerise,
then I would be most grateful!
Thanks!
