Is there a comprehensive reference (or even a non-comprehensive one)
of the meanings of the various icons Outlooks puts in the system tray
during operation? I know a particular envelope icon means unread mail
in the inbox, but I've also seen a couple of others when downloading
email from the servers. One appears to be a different type of
envelope, the third an envelope with an exclamation mark. I get this
when accessing my Exchange server via a VPN and the download to my
local files takes an inordinate amount of time. This is also
accompanied by a 'pop' sound.
In the whole it seems that MS Office products are filled with all
kinds of little icons, and I've never seen a good reference to what
they indicate.
