Media player error code C00D1197 Media Player

I'm using medial Player version 10.00.00.4036.
When I try to sync to my mp3 player, I get the error message C00D1197
'Cannot Play File" for many songs and they won't sync to the player. My
player is a SanDisk e140.

However, I can play the songs from the media player without any trouble at
all.
I've checked to make sure that all the files are mp3 files.
I've enabled all network protocols and I've configured the proxy server
settings.

Why won't the songs sync to the player?
