Media Player Hyperlink

When I set a hyperlink to an song in MP3 format, Media Player starts full
screen. Is there a way to avoid this -- start minimized perhaps? Also, I
would like to set Media Player to play the cut only once. Again, is there
any way to do this?

Any help will be appreciated.

When you use a hyperlink they are downloading the song to open externally in
whatever player they have set to play that format. It could be loading
Quicktime for all you know. The only way I know to control the size and
number of times the file is played is by embedding the file into the webpage.

Unfortunately no. There is no HTML that will let you control the behavior of
whatever player is used to play the file or how it will be played. The only
thing you would have control over is embedded a player into a page to play a
particular mp3 or other media file. Over at the MS FP web site there's an
add-in windows media player that will let you embed the player into a page
easily.

Hope this helps,
