Media Player plays too fast

B

Bob Bevan Smith

On some (but not all) our Win2K Pro desktops, an MPEGfile
played by Windows media player v7.01.00.3055 appears to
play at about twice normal speed. The Picture does not
usually appear; instead there is a green rectangle.
Sometimes, a frame of the movie will show for a fraction
of a second.
Can anyone point me at a possible solution to this please?

would be a better choice of newsgroup.
Chances are though is that you don't have the same MPEG codecs on all your
machines.

Great - that will improve productivity! Can we all have one?
