Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: pop I've received .wmv files before and was able to play and send them. I could also come back later and retrieve the attachment from a previous sent email, play it and resent it but now, I get an error; 'unknown error in Entourage'. The attachment is there but always that message when I attempt to open the file. Inside the e-mail itself, a red X is placed.

Sounds like you might not have the entire message in Entourage or you need
to connect to the web to view.

I wish it was that simple. I can't even open any attachments unless the attachments are pictures.

I¹m confused. It sounds like you were able to do this before? Can you drag
the attachment to the desktop to play?
