Median and range in powerpoint

Can anyone tell me how to make a chart in powerpoint (2002) to show a series
of values expressed as medians and ranges (non parametric data so mean and
average is incorrect)?

I have wasted hours trying to figure this out and last time ended up drawing
the charts and scanning them, which looked pretty untidy in this modern era.
I would be ever so grateful if someone could put me out of my misery.

I would post in excel.charting -- the chart gurus there should be able to
help you.

Depending how the charts are created, you may be able to do them in PPT's MS
Graph also.
