When I send meeting requests to a particular set of people, their accptance
notfiication stays in their outbox and doesn't ever get sent to me. They can
delete it, and the rest of their mail will flow. I've seen lost of posts on
this forum telling how to delete it so that subsequent mail can be sent... I
want to know how to get the replies sent properly.
I'm using outlook 2007 (happened when I was using outlook 2003 as well) and
they are using outlook 2003. Neither of us is using an exchange server.
Their network guru indicated that, by watching the TCP/IP traffic, he saw
that outlook was opening the SMTP session, then closing it, then abending.
By the way, sending replies to emails are fine, and them sending meeting
requests to me works OK both ways. This is just a deal when they are trying
to reply to meeting requests I set up with them.
Thanks in advance for any help.
