BACKGROUND
scheduling a New Meeting in Outlook.
GOAL
Identify configuration settings allowing a Meeting Organizer to mark a
meeting Confidential which allows other non-Invited users to only view the
Meeting's Organizer AND NOT any other meeting details (such as Subject &
Meeting message).
EXAMPLE
Person A is looking to organize a New Meeting in their Outlook Calendar AND
includes a conference room as a Resource in the Attendee Listing. The
conference room resource is shown as BUSY, having already been 'booked' by a
different meeting organizer (Person B) who has marked their meeting as
Confidential.
Person A to be able to place their cursor over the conference room's BUSY
indicator and they are be able to see the Meeting's Organizer (Person B) for
the BUSY conference room resource. However they can NOT view any other
elements of Person B's Meeting.
